A literary-musical evening on the 450th birthday of William Shakespeare

The literary scholar Stefana Sabin reads from her book "Shakespeare on 100 pages". Subsequently, the soprano Gabriele Hierdeis, accompanied by pianist Hilko Dumno, sings Shakespeare songs of Henry Purcell, Haydn, Roger Quilter and John Rutter.

Stefana Sabin studied in Frankfurt, Haifa and Los Angeles and graduated with a literary study of modern American poetry. Numerous publications. This year, her book "Shakespeare on 100 pages" appeared in Reclam Publishers House.

Gabriele Hierdeis, with its wide-ranging repertoire an internationally renowned soprano with engagements in Germany, Western Europe, Russia, Egypt, China, and North and South America.

Hilko Dumno studied piano, chamber music and at the universities Detmold and Frankfurt. He was a fellow of the German Music Council, the Villa Musica Mainz and the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.

William Shakespeare (1564-1616) is the ultimate classic.
